WHAT IS PANDEMICPREP.ORG?

PandemicPrep.org is a consortium of businesses, organizations, universities, schools, hospitals, Federal, State (Missouri and Illinois), and local government agencies, working together to better prepare the St. Louis region for a pandemic.

We will:

1. Educate regional businesses, schools, service organizations, governments and individuals about the dangers of a pandemic and the importance of advance planning


2. Provide a clearinghouse for St. Louis area pandemic guidelines and resources


3. Identify gaps in St. Louis area planning efforts


4. Serve as a catalyst to help industries and local governments close those gaps


5. Motivate area leaders, businesses and individuals to take decisive action now

• Forum for municipal and industry preparedness

  • Workplace modification
  • Legal issue

TAKE THE LEAD

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is launching a national pandemic preparedness campaign to encourage as many Americans as possible to understand that the threat of a pandemic influenza is real and to actively engage in personal preparedness. This campaign is called “Take the Lead – Working Together to Prepare Now.”  PandemicPrep.Org has partnered to help disseminate infomortation and other communities.
